Carrera is a West German company that produces a unique track system that can be used for both 1:32 and 1:24 scale slot car racing. Their track is wider than most of the other brands of 1:32 scale track. Four (4) different turn radius sizes are available making it possible to build a slot car track with up to 8 lanes of racing.

Carrera also makes a full selection of attractive turn borders that clip onto the edge of their track to provide a "drifting" zone at the outside of a curve. Racers that plan to race 1:24 scale cars must add these borders to sufficiently widen the track for larger 1:24 scale slot cars.
