Slot Italia manufactures a complete system of gears for both inline and sidewinder chassis configurations. These gears are precision machined for smooth and friction-free operation.

Each of the axle gears is secured to the rear axle using a 0.9mm M2 set screw.

A variety of gear sizes are available, making it possible to fine-tune a slot car for maximum speed and torque depending upon the type of slot car track the car will be racing on.

Slot Italia brass inline pinion gears can be pressed onto any standard 1:32 scale racing motor. Four (4) different pinion gears sizes are available to allow fine-tuning the gear ratio to match track conditions and motor power.

Slot Italia Inline Crown gears with bronze hubs are an excellent choice for home racing. The bronze hub with set screw provides a low-maintenance gear train package. Eight (8) different gear sizes are available, making it possible to adjust the overall gear ratio to suit a particular track or driving style.

Slot Italia Inline Crown gears with aluminum hubs are for serious club racing only. The machined aluminum hub with set screw requires constant lubrication to prevent the soft metal from wearing out. The light-weight aluminum hub greatly reduces the rotational mass of the rear axle assembly, but must be kept well greased to prevent failure.

Slot Italia provides eight (8) different gear sizes, making it possible to adjust the overall gear ratio to suit a particular track or driving style.

Slot Italia sidewinder spur gears offer a unique constant diameter gear system that allows variable gear ratios to be achieved while maintaining a fixed 19mm spur gear diameter.

Most popular brands of RTR 1:32 scale slot cars, except ProSlot, utilize a 19mm diameter spur gear. The gears listed below can be used with these makes.

Slot Italia Crown and Spur gears include 0.9mm M2 Set Screws to secure them to the axle, but it's always a good idea to have a few extra of the these small screws in case you loose one. One of the 0.9mm M2 Hex Wrenches is also a must.
